Happy #InternationalCatDay! August 8 is International Cat Day which was created by the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2002. The day aims to raise awareness of cats, as well as promoting their protection. But, did you know that the unexpected history of cats is actually all about: practicality and witchcraft, memorialisation and ceremony, cruelty and protection, carnival and fear, authority and rebellion!
